By listing a property, enquiring about one, or otherwise using iom-rentals.im, you agree to the following. iom-rentals.im is run by CGI Web Services.

What this site is

iom-rentals.im is a free noticeboard for Isle of Man rental listings. We provide the listing and enquiry tools; we are not a letting agent, we do not vet landlords or tenants, we are not party to any tenancy, and we do not handle deposits, rent payments or tenancy agreements. Any tenancy arrangement is strictly between the landlord and tenant.

Listing is free

Listing a property costs nothing and always will for the core service. Confirming a listing also sets you up with a free Ready2Rent account carrying complimentary verification credits, as described on the site and in our privacy policy; that account and its credits are governed by Ready2Rent's own terms once created.

Accuracy is your responsibility

As a landlord, you're responsible for the accuracy of everything in your listing — the address, rent, description and photos. Listings must not be misleading, must not discriminate unlawfully against prospective tenants, and must relate to a genuine property you're entitled to let.

Acceptable use

Don't use the site to post anything illegal, fraudulent, defamatory or abusive, or to scrape, spam or attempt to disrupt the service. We can remove any listing or enquiry, and block access, at our discretion — most often for spam or a breach of these terms.

No warranty

The site is provided as-is. We don't guarantee listings are accurate, available, or that any enquiry will result in a successful tenancy. Any dealings between landlords and tenants — viewings, references, contracts, deposits — are entirely at their own risk.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CGI Web Services is not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site, including losses arising from a tenancy or prospective tenancy arranged through it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be on this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Isle of Man.
